BHOLA, Oct 21, 2019 (BSS) – The local administration imposed an indefinite ban on public gathering in the district today.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Masud Alam Siddique told BSS that the
move was aimed at maintaining law and order.
“It’ll remain effective until further notice,” he said.
Meanwhile, the district bus owners association stopped inter-district operation from this morning citing security reasons, its Organizing Secretary Md. Shafiqul Islam told BSS.
Members of law enforcement and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) troops were patrolling the town to prevent any untoward incident.
