DU-SCHOLARSHIP (with picture)
2 DU students get scholarships
DHAKA, Oct 20, 2019 (BSS) – Two meritorious students of the Department of
Biomedical Physics and Technology of Dhaka University (DU) were awarded
“Khondkar Lutfi Rabbani-Nazmunnesa Memorial Scholarship” for their
outstanding academic results in MS examinations.
The recipients of scholarships are –Ashis Sharma Dipta and Md Sharjish
Ibne Wadud.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman distributed scholarships
among the students at a function today at the VC’s lounge of the university.
Treasurer of DU Prof Md Kamal Uddin presided over the function while
Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Physics and Technology Dr Md Abdul
Kadir, one of the donors of the trust fund Prof Dr Khondkar Siddique-e-
Rabbani and some other family members, among others, were present on this
occasion.
Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman urged the students to equip themselves with self-
dignity and moral values to become worthy citizen.
He paid his glowing tribute to the memories of late Khondkar Lutfi
Rabbani and late Nazmunnesa.
