VERDICT-DEATH-SENTENCE
One to die for killing brother-in-law in Khulna
KHULNA, Oct 20, 2019 (BSS) – A court here today sentenced a man to death
for killing his brother-in-law in Terokhada upazila of the district in 2017.
Khulna District and Session Judge Moshiur Rahman Chowdhury delivered the
verdict in presence of the accused.
The court also fined convict Aminul Khan Taka 5,000, in default, he will
suffer another one year in jail.
The court sources said Aminul hacked to death his brother-in-law Kalu
Khan following an altercation at Charpara Kushla village under Terokhada
upazila on August 9, 2017.
On August 10, Ashanur Khan, son of the deceased, filed a case against
the killer with Terokhada Police Station in this connection.
