CHATTOGRAM, Oct 19, 2019 (BSS) – Police recovered the throat-slit bodies of
a man and his four-year-old daughter from a house in Nimtali Biswa Road area
of Chattogram city at 11am today.
The victims were identified as Mohammad Arif, 32, and his child Bibi
Fatema, 04.
Sukanta Chakraborty, officer -in-charge (OC) of Bandar thana said Arif
lived with his family on the first floor of a three-storey residential
building at Bhuchukkya colony at Nimtoli.
On information, police recovered the bodies from the house and sent those
to the hospital morgue.
“The child’s body was found on a bed, while father’s body on the floor.
Both bodies carried slash marks on the throats,” the OC added.
Police have already launched investigation into the incident but are yet to
make any arrests.
