Kids Rugby competition begins tomorrow
DHAKA, May 30, 2018 (BSS)- The Diamond Melamine Under-8 Kids Rugby
competition will begin tomorrow (Thursday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali
Handball Stadium with the participation of six teams.
The participating teams are Dhaka Mariners Club, Farashganj Sporting Club,
Azad Sporting Club, Victoria Sporting Club, Agrabad Noujowan (Chattogram) and
Sylhet Hill Rugby Club.
Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Advocate Jahangir Kabir
Nanak, MP, is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
Director of Shamol Bangla Media Limited (Finance) Ashraf Uddin Ahmed will
be present there as the special guest organised by Bangladesh Rugby
Federation (BRF).
In this regards, a press conference was held on Wednesday at conference
room of Bangabandhu National Stadium to provide all the details of the meet.
Sponsor Diamond Melamine chairman Mokter Hossain, BRF general secretary
Moushum Ali, its joint general secretary Sayeed Ahmed, tournament committee’s
chairman Moshiur Rahman Suman and BRF members Sirajul Islam, Dwin Islam were
present, among others, on the occasion.
