Saudi keen to invest in power sector
DHAKA, Oct 16, 2019 (BSS) – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) based Riyadh Cables Group Company has expressed its keenness to invest in the country’s power and solar energy sectors.
A two-member delegation of the Saudi Arabian company, now visiting Bangladesh, today expressed the interest during a meeting with Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Md Sirazul Islam at his office in the city, said a press release.
Welcoming the delegation, Sirajul Islam said, Bangladesh is now an attractive destination for investment as the investors of the country are enjoying all sorts of facilities to run their business smoothly.
He said Bangladesh will welcome Saudi Arabian investment in the power sector and assured them of providing all sorts of supports.
Among others, BIDA Director Md Ariful Haque and BIDA Law Affairs Officer Md Saiful Islam were present during the meeting.
