Farhad urges govt officials to work sincerely

DHAKA, Oct 15, 2019 (BSS) – As the government employees bear a great
responsibility to implement the government’s policies and plans, they should
work sincerely with devotion to take the country forward.

This was stated by State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain
at a certificate-distribution ceremony among the employees selected as the
‘Staff of the Month’ at the ministry’s conference room at the Secretariat
here, said a press release.

Referring to the remarkable development taken place in the country’s all
sectors, including education, health, administration, agriculture and
manpower, under the present government, he urged all government officials to
work together to continue the ongoing development pace.

One of the main objectives of the Public Administration Ministry is
creating skilled manpower and posting them on right positions, the state
minister said, adding that the employees of the ministry are playing a vital
role in this regard and they are models for other officials.

Farhad urged the officials of the Public Administration Ministry to work
with honesty and sincerity to uphold their reputation.

Chaired by Public Administration Secretary Faiz Ahmed, Additional
Secretary Dulal Krishna Saha delivered welcome speech at the function.

According to the press release, the Public Administration Ministry has
launched the ‘Staff of the Month’ award aiming to improve the quality of
service delivery encouraging employees to improve themes.

A total of six employees from grade 10 to 20 won the ‘Staff of the Month’
in three categories for July and August.

Administrative officers Md Manjur Rahma Sarker and Najir Md Abbas Uddin
and office assistant Md Abdur Rashid won the award for the month July while
administrative officer Md Omar Faroque, Data entry or control operator Selim
Reza and office assistant Mafzal Ahmad won for month August.
