Bangladesh emerges as new role model of development: South Korean envoy
DHAKA, Oct 13, 2019 (BSS) – South Korean Ambassador to Bangladesh Hu Kang-il today praised Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s strong leadership for Bangladesh’s rapid industrialization and development, saying that Bangladesh could be a new model of development.
“Korea is providing assistance in various sectors of Bangladesh and is ready to cooperate more for further development,” he said this while paying a courtesy call on the Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury at his ministry office.
During the meeting the land minister highlighted the government’s various plans for transforming the land management into digitalization for ensuring transparency and accountability in the sector.
Saifuzzaman Chowdhury expressed his strong optimism on the strengthening of the strategic, commercial and global partnerships between two countries and recalled the successful visit of South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon last July.
