BANDARBAN, Oct 13, 2019 (BSS) – Two young people were killed and 13 others
injured as a jeep overturned on Ali Kadam-Thanchi road in the hilly district
this morning.
The deceased were identified as Md Didar, 23 and Abu Taleb, 24. Both of
them were the residents in Pekua upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.
Eye witnesses said the accident occurred at around 11 am in Ponoro
Kilometer area as the driver of the jeep lost his control over steering.
Md Didar died on the spot while Abu Taleb died at Ali Kadam Upazila Health
Complex. Injured people were admitted to the hospital.
