Two industrial organizations fined Tk 6.78 lakh in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Oct 10, 2019 (BSS)- Department of Environment (DoE) in
Chattogram today fined two industrial organisations of Nasirabad and EPZ area
in the city with Taka.6.78 lakh today on charge of environmental pollutions
in the areas.
Director of DOE, Azadur Rahman Mallick pronounced this penalty after
hearing at the DOE office.
The convicted organizations are Islam Steel mills limited in Nasirabad
industrial area and Chattogram Central Wastage treatment Plant of EPZ with
Tk 4.86 lakh and Tk 1.92 lakh respectively.
