BCL brings out mourning procession protesting Abrar’s murder

DHAKA, Oct 10, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) today brought
out a mourning rally at Dhaka University (DU) campus protesting the brutal
killing of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student
Abrar Fahad.

Hundreds of BCL leaders joined the procession, which paraded different
streets on the DU campus this noon.

While addressing the rally, BCL acting president Al-Nahean Khan Joy
demanded justice for the murder of BUET student Abrar Fahad.

“I urged the government to ensure maximum punishment for those involved in
the murder of Abrar,” said Joy.

He called upon the government to take proper action so that no one dares
to commit such crimes in educational institutions.

BCL acting general secretary Lekhak Bhattacharjee was also present at the
rally.

Abrar Fahad, a second year student of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering (EEE) Department was beaten to death at Sher-e-Bangla Hall of
BUET at the early hours of October 7.
