ARREST-YABA-AIRPORT
One held with 1,910 Yaba tablets at HSIA
DHAKA, Oct 9, 2019 (BSS) – Security forces of Hazrat Shahjalal
International Airport (HSIA) detained a man with 1,910 yaba tablets from the
domestic terminal area of the airport today.
Detained Chiyonomong Tong is a resident of Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar
district.
Security personnel of the airport searched him observing suspicious
movement and recovered the yaba tablets from his possession,
said Alamgir Hossain Shimul, additional superintendent of Members of the
Armed Police Battalion (APBn).
He was later handed over to the airport police station.
A case was filed with police station concerned under Narcotics Control
Act.
