WATERAID-APPOINTMENT
WaterAid appoints Dr Khairul as new regional director
DHAKA, Oct 5, 2019 (BSS) – WaterAid has appointed Dr Md Khairul Islam as
the new regional director for South Asia.
The appointment has been effective from October 1, 2019, said a press
release today.
Prior to his new position, Dr Islam served as the Country Director of
WaterAid Bangladesh for more than 11 years. He brings with him to the
position over four decades of diverse experiences from the development
organizations and government agencies nationally and internationally.
He will be based in Bangladesh Country Office. As part of South Asia lead,
he will be responsible for Bangladesh, Pakistan, Myanmar, Nepal and India
operations.
