HABIGANJ, Oct 4, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 300 poor people of the district today got cloths on the occasion of Durga Puja.
Shaymol Chhaya, a voluntary organisation, organised the clothes distribution function at Chowdhury Bazar in the town this noon.
Advocate Md Abu Zahir joined the programme and distributed the cloths including Saree and Lungi.
Jagadish Chandra Modok chaired the function while Police Superintendent Mohammod Ullah, Sadar Upazila Chairman Motachsirul Islam, President of Zila Puja Udjapan Committee Advocate Nalini Kanto Rao and the Assistant Organising Secretary of Chowdhury Bazaar Puja Udjapan Committee Ajay Rao were present, among others.
