YABA-RECOVERY
1,780 Yaba tablets recovered in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Oct 4, 2019 (BSS)- Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)
recovered 1,780 Yaba tablets in two separate drives in the district last
night.
BGB said, a patrol team of BGB-53 battalion from Monakasha border Outpost
(BOP) conducted an anti-drug drive at Mastanbazar square under Monakasha
union under Shibganj upazila of the district around 6:50pm and recovered 990
Yaba tablets in an abandoned condition.
In another drive a patrol team of BGB from Bakhaerali BOP raided at 6 No.
Beribandh area under Sundarpur union under Sadar upazila of the district
around 10:50pm and recovered 790 Yaba tablets.
The seized Yaba tablets were deposited with the Narcotics Control
Department, BGB added.
