LALPUR, Oct 3, 2019 (BSS) – Lalpur Upazila administration distributed rice among 150 flood affected families in Ishwardi union under the Upazila of the district today.
A simple function was held at Ishwardi union Parishad on the occasion. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ummul Banin Duti, Upazila AL general secretary Ishahak Ali, PIO Abdur Razzak and Ishwardi Union Parishad chairman Aminul islam Joy were present in the function.
Each family were given 15 kilograms of rice as relief. It is mentioned increasing water in the River Padma caused sudden flood in north-western region in the country.
