DHAKA, May 29, 2018 (BSS) – Public Service Commission (PSC) today announced the schedules of 38th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written and 39th preliminary tests.
According to the schedules, preliminary test of the 39th (special) BCS will be held on August 3 while written tests of the 38th BCS will begin from August 8, said a PSC press release here.
The 38th BCS written tests for compulsory subjects will be held between August 8 and August 13 while tests for optional subjects will be held in the first week of September.
Detailed exam schedules will be published in different national dailies and on the PSC website in due time.
On April 8, the PSC published a circular for 39th special BSC to recruit 4,542 doctors and 250 dental surgeons. A total of 32,583 aspirants have applied against 4,542 doctor posts while 5,150 have applied against 250 dental surgeon posts.
Besides, a total of 16,286 candidates out of 3,46,446 have qualified for the written exams of the 38th BCS.
