BSJ congratulates Sheikh Hasina for receiving ‘Vaccine Hero Award’
DHAKA, Oct 1, 2019 (BSS)-Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote (BSJ) today congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on receiving the prestigious “Vaccine Hero Award”.
Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) conferred the award upon the Prime Minister at a ceremony at a conference room of the UN Headquarters in recognition of Bangladesh’s outstanding success in vaccination to immunise children.
Leaders and activists of Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote staged a rally in front of the National Press Club.
BSJ vice-president Rafiqul Alam, general secretary Arun Sarker Rana, artistes Monoronjan Ghoshal, former president of Muktijuddha Sangshad Shaqikul Bahar Majumder Tipu, president of Bangabandhu Gobeshona Parishod Md. Gani Mia Babul, among others, spoke at the rally.
