Kool BSJA Media football kicks off tomorrow
DHAKA, September 30, 2019 (BSS) – Kool BSJA Media Cup tournament 2019, a football tournament organized by Bangladesh Sports Journalist Association, sponsored by Square Toiletries Limited begins tomorrow (Tuesday) at the artificial turf of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).
The jersey and trophy of the tournament was unveiled in a press conference on Monday in the city in this regard. At the same time, the draw of the tournament was also held.
A total of 24 leading media houses of the country will take part in the tournament, split into eight groups. The tournament is being held as round robin league basis in the group phase.
Champion of each eight groups will be moved into the quarterfinal where every match will be a knock-out game.
The final is on October 5 at the same venue.
The media houses which take part in the tournament is Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), The Independent, Bangladesh Protidin, Doinik Jugantor, GTV, Jago News24, Bangladesh Tribune, News 24, Dainik Kaler Kantha, DBC, Channel 24, Dainik Ittefaq, Channel I, Dhaka Tribune, Dainik Sangbad, Machranga Television, Dainik Samakal, Dainik Nayadiganto, Somoy Television, Ekushey Television, Boishakhi Television, Dipto Television, Banglavision.
Dipto Television will take on Banglavision in the first match of the tournament at 9.30 AM tomorrow.
Head of Marketing, Square Toiletries Dr, Jasmine Jaman, BSJA president Motaher Hossain Masum, BSJA secretary Raihan Al Mughni, Tournament committee convener Rakibul Hasan, and other members of Square, BSJA and media houses were present at the press conference.
