2 die in separate incidents in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 29 (BSS) -Two people including a school boy died in separate incidents in

the district today.

School boy Mohammad Hamim, 14, allegedly committed suicide by taking poison at Ali Nagar area

of Zorergonj Thana of the district on Sunday. Hamim, the only son of Dubai expatriate

Sayedullah, hailed from Alinagar area of Zorergonj Thana.

Quoting the victim’s relatives, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Alauddin Talukdar of Chattogram

Medical College police outpost said Hamim, a class nine student of local high school might have

committed suicide by taking poison for reasons unknown.

He was rushed to the Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) where attending doctors

declared him dead, CMCH police outpost sources said.

Meanwhile, Abu Sufiyan, 38, son of Nurul Islam was found dead at the premises of a school at

Kalaujan Hindurhat area of Lohagarah upazila on Sunday.

Saiful Islam, officer-in-charge of Lohagarah Thana said the students of Kalaujan

Kindergarten spotted the body of Sufiyan in the veranda of their school.

Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy.

Abu Taleb, brother of the victim, said Sufiyan remained missing since he went out of his home

on Saturday.

The bodies were sent to the morgue for autopsy, the sources added.
