Motivated Bangladesh face India in SAFF U-18 final tomorrow

DHAKA, Sept 28, 2019 (BSS)- South Asia will have a new under-18 champion
as motivated Bangladesh take on India in the title deciding final of the SAFF
U-18 Championship scheduled to be held tomorrow (Sunday) at APF Stadium in
Kathmandu, Nepal.

The match kicks off at 2.30 pm (local time).

Bhutan will face Maldives in a third-place play-off match on Sunday which
will be followed by the final between Bangladesh and India. The two finalists
had played stalemate in group stage earlier.

Nepal had won both the previous editions of the tournament defeating
India and Bangladesh in the 2015 and 2017 finals respectively. However, the
hosts crashed out in the group stages this time around finishing behind
Bhutan and Maldives in Group A.

Earlier, on way to the final, Bangladesh and India drubbed Bhutan and the
Maldives by 4-0 goals in both their respective semifinals.
