BRAHMANBARIA, Sept 27, 2019 (BSS) – Law, Justice and Parliamentary
Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today said BNP is a party of corrupts’ as their
chairperson have stolen the money of orphans.
“Court has convicted (Khaleda Zia) and sentenced her in the case.
Another leader (Tarique Rahman) of the party has been convicted and sentenced
in money laundering case,” he said.
Anisul said these while addressing a function to inaugurate registration
of an online blood donation group named Atmio at Akhaura Rail Junction area
this morning.
The law minister said the ongoing anti-graft raid will continue as Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina’s government announced zero tolerance against
corruption.
Presided over by Akhaura Municipality Mayor Md Takzil Khalifa, the
function was also addressed by Brahmanbaria Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Shah
Alam.
Akhaura upazila parishad chairman Md Abul Kashem Bhuiyan, Kasba upazila
parishad chairman Rashedul Kawser Bhuiyan Jibon, Akhaura Awami League
convener Principal Md Joynal Abedin and upzila nirbahi officer Tahmina Akter
Reina were present on the occasion, among others.
