DHAKA, Sept 27, 2019 (BSS) – The ruling Awami League (AL) and different social and cultural organizations have drawn up various programmes to celebrate AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s 73rd birthday tomorrow.
Though the prime minister is now in the USA to attend the 74th Session of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, her birthday will be celebrated in a befitting manner at home and abroad.
AL will hold a discussion at the city’s Krishibid Institution at 3.30pm tomorrow. Party’s Presidium Member and Deputy Leader of the House Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury will chair the function. Top leaders of the party will address it.
To mark the day, Bangladesh Chhatra League, the student wing of the AL, will bring out a colorful procession from Madhu’s Canteen on Dhaka University campus at 10am tomorrow.
