Dipu Moni inaugurates BA programme for expatriate Bangladeshis
DHAKA, Sept 25, 2019 (BSS) – Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni inaugurated online based Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme for expatriate Bangladeshis living in Seoul, South Korea.
The education minister opened the programme through a video conference, said a press release here today.
Around 13,300 youths who went to Korea without completing their BA degree would now get opportunity to complete their degree under this three-year long course to be run by Bangladesh Open University (BOU).
The expatriate Bangladeshis will get the opportunity to change their visa criteria to ‘Student Visa’ after completing the higher degree, said the release.
Bangladesh’s Ambassador to South Korea Abida Islam, Commercial Councilor Mohammad Masud Rana Chowdhury and first secretary (Labour) Makima Begum were present.
