Three held with yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 24, 2019 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested three alleged drug peddlers with 1,980 pieces of yaba tablets from
Battalahat area under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila this afternoon.
The arrested persons are Khairul, 24, of Charbagdanga village under
Chapainawabganj sadar upazila, Omar Faruq, 22, of Joynagar Mirpara under
Chapainawabganj municipality and Mohoful, 40, of Poragaon village under
Chapainawabganj sadar upazila.
RAB sources said acting on secret information, a team of RAB-5 from
Chapainawabganj camp raided the aforesaid area around 4 pm and arrested them
with the yaba tablets.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of
Chapainawabganj sadar thana.
A case was filed in this connection.
