DU-HONOUR-UGC-CHAIRMAN (WITH PICTURE)
DU accords reception to UGC Chairman
DHAKA, Sept 22, 2019 (BSS) – Dhaka University (DU) authorities today
accorded a reception to DU History Department Professor Dr Kazi Shahidullah
for his appointment as the Chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC).
DU history department arranged the reception at Prof Sirajul Islam Lecture
Hall on the campus.
Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md. Akhtaruzzaman, arts faculty dean Abu Md
Delwar Hossain, President of History Department Alumni Association Mohon
Khan, Professor Dr Nurul Huda Abul Monsur spoke at the programme with
history department chairperson Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Jamal in the chair.
Associate Professor Mrittika Shahita read out a brief biography of Dr Kazi
Shahidullah at the programme.
