Bashundhara Kings reach in U-18 Football semis
DHAKA, Sept 20, 2019 (BSS)- Bashundhara Kings moved semifinal of the U-18
Football tournament as they came from behind to beat Brothers Union Club by
3-2 goals in the first quarterfinal held on Friday at Bangabandhu National
Stadium here.
In the day’s match, Habibur Rahman opened an account for Brothers Union
Club in the 11st minute while Rasel doubled the lead for all orange Gopibagh
outfit in the 21st minute of the match.
Rahan Bepari reduced the margin scoring the first goal for Bashundhara
Kings in the 33rd minute while Sabbir neutralized the margin scoring the
second goal for Bashundhara in the 45+1st minute.
Sabbir, however, sealed the victory scoring his second and third for
Bashundhara in the 75th minute of the match.
Saturday’s match: Arambagh Krira Sangha vs NoFeL Sporting Club at 5 pm at
the same venue.
