Reward for 27 police personnel in Dhaka Range

DHAKA, Sept 17, 2019 (BSS) – Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police for Dhaka Range Habibur Rahman today awarded 27 police officers along with three Choukiders (Guards) for their outstanding performances in handling crimes and maintaining law and order.

“Police should remain vigilant for curbing militancy, terrorism and other crimes to keep law and order,” he said while presiding a monthly crime, law and order assessment conference for August held at his conference room in the city.

He directed the police force to work with utmost sincerity and professionalism for ensuring peace in society during the upcoming Durga Puja.

Additional DIG (Operation and Crime) M Asaduzzaman conducted the monthly crime conference, while commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Shafiqul Islam was present in the meeting as special guest.

Besides, the Dhaka Range DIG also gave a farewell to recently promoted Superintendent of Police (SP) of Dhaka District Shah Mizan Shafiur Rahman, who has been promoted to the rank of Additional DIG.

All SPs of Dhaka Range and officials concerned joined the crime conference.

Superintendent of Police of Madaripur Mohammad Mahbub Hasan received a crest as the best range police super award from the DIG for August and senior assistant SP of Narsinghdi Khairul Hasan was awarded as the best circle officer of the range for his excellent performances.

DIG Habibur Rahman gave guidelines on various cases after discussing details of cases in the conference.
