U-14 Academy Cup semifinals tomorrow
DHAKA, Sept 17, 2019 (BSS)- Both the semifinals of the Bashundhara Kings BFSF U-14 Academy Cup Football will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at Paltan ground adjoining Bangabandhu National Stadium here.
On the day, MK Galaktikeof Sylhet will take on FC Khulna in the first semifinal at 2 pm while Shams-Ul-Huda FA meet Gendaria FA in the second semis at 3.30 pm.
Meanwhile, in the day’s last group phase matches, Shams-Ul-Huda FA blanked Kurigram FAK by 5-0 goals in the first match while Gendaria FA defeated Keraniganj FA by 3-2 goals in the day’s second match.
A total of twelve U-14 academy teams, split into four groups, from eleven districts across the country are taking part in the nine-day meet, sponsored by Bashundhara Kings, the champions of the this year Bangladesh Premier League, and organized by Bangladesh Football Supporters’ Forum (BFSF).
The final of the competition is slated for September 20.
The champions team will receive Taka one lac while the runners-up team will have Taka fifty thousand as cash prizes.
Besides, all the participating teams will get participation money.
