Jatiya Party to build prosperous country: GM Quader
DHAKA, Sept 17, 2019 (BSS) – Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Opposition Leader in Parliament GM Quader today said his party would build a prosperous country by fulfilling the people’s expectations.
He said this while addressing a ceremony to welcome some former BNP leaders of Gulshan, Banani and Mahakhali units who joined Jatiya Party at the party chairman’s Banani office here.
Quader said Jatiya Party’s founding chairman HM Ershad was true friend of poor and destitute people.
“HM Ershad devoted his life for the welfare of destitute people. We are working to implement his ideology,” he said.
BNP’s Banani thana unit leaders Awlad Hossain Sardar, Kamal Hossain, Ziaur Rahman Raju, Mostafizur Rahman, Anwar Hossain, Matiur Rahman Ujjal and Niamul Islam Masud, among others, joined the Jatiya Party.
Jatiya Party presidium members Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu, ATU Taj Rahman and Barrister Shamim Haider Patwary and Vice-Chairman Ahsan Adelur Rahman were present on the occasion, among others.
