Man dies in Gopalganj road accident
GOPALGANJ, Sep 15, 2019 (BSS) – A man was killed and six others were
injured as a pickup van collided head on with a passenger bus in the district
this morning.
The deceased was identified as Parvej Sheikh, 25, driver of the pickup van
and a resident of Bagerhat district.
Officer-in-Charge of Gopalganj Sadar Thana Monirul Islam said the accident
occurred around 7:30 am in Dattadanga area on the Gopalganj-Kotalipara Road
under Sadar upazila, leaving Parvez critically injured.
Later, Parvej died while undergoing treatment at Gopalganj General
Hospital.
