Bankers urged to acquire IT knowledge to prevent cyber crimes

RAJSHAHI, Sept 15, 2019 (BSS) – Senior bankers of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan
Bank (RAKUB) today urged their branch-level colleagues to acquire IT
knowledge to prevent cyber crimes.

They made the call while addressing the opening session of a five-day
training course titled “Core Banking Solution (CBS) and Information
Technology (IT) Security, Prevention of Fraud and Forgery in CBS” at RAKUB
Training Institute here.

Senior officers and senior principal officers from 25 branches are taking
part in the course.

RAKUB Managing Director Nurul Islam addressed the ceremony as the chief
guest while General Managers Towhida Khatun, Mofizul Haque and Azizul Islam
Sarker spoke as special guests with Principal of the training institute
Subrata Kumar Sarker in the chair.

Nurul Islam urged the field level bankers to acquire knowledge on the
issues of online banking and IT security accurately so that they can face the
existing challenges in this field competently.

He also asked them to use the knowledge to be acquired from the training
in their respective working fields properly.
