CUMILLA, Sept 15, 2019 (BSS) – Three motorcyclists were killed as a bus of ‘Shaymoli Paribahan’ hit their motorcycle in Paduar Bazaar area on Dhaka-Cumilla Highway of the district today.
The deceased were identified as Shajol, 24, Shahin Ahmed, 26, and Kajol, 22. All the residents of Cumilla Dakshin Sadar Upazila.
Dakshin Sadar Thana police said the fatal accident occurred at around 11.30 am when they were over taking a truck at Paduar Bazaar on the highway, leaving the trio injured seriously.
Later, they were brought to Cumilla Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared them dead.
The bodies were handed over to their family members.
Policed seized the bus.
