Choton hopes of making good start against Thailand
DHAKA, Sept 14, 2019 (BSS)- Bangladesh U-16 women’s football team head coach Golam Robbani Choton said his girls’ are aiming to make a good start and would fight against Thailand to snatch a good result in the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship.
He was speaking at a pre match press conference held today at Hotel Ariza Conference Room in Chonburi, Thailand.
Bangladesh will take on hosts Thailand in their opening group A match scheduled to be held tomorrow (Sunday) at Choburi Stadium at 6 pm (BST).
“Each of the opponents of our group are strong sides…. we respect them all …… tomorrow’s is our first match against Thailand and girls are also ready …… Thailand however will be ahead then us as they will get extra advantage due to their home ground and local supports, but our girls are ready to take the challenge and will give a good fight to bring a good result, said Choton to a pre match press conference.
He said he already conveyed a positive view that the preparation has been invaluable to the girls’ long term development as well as their preparations for their first game against Thailand.
