Journalist Zakir Hossain passes away
KHULNA, Sept 12, 2019 (BSS) – Md Zakir Hossain, former General secretary of
Khulna Press Club and executive editor of local daily Alokito
Sangbad(defunct) died at Shaheed Sheikh Abu Nasir Specialised Hospital here
today.
He was 61, family sources said.
He left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and relatives to mourn his
death.
He will be buried at city’s Basupara graveyard following his namaz-e-janaza
after Isha prayer at Makki Mosque tonight.
Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Talukder Abdul Khaleque and leaders
of different socio-cultural organizations paid tributes to the deceased on
the Khulna press Club premises after Asr prayer.
