ARREST-DRUG-PEDDLER
Drug peddler held with 1,368 beer cans in city
DHAKA, Sept 10, 2019 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested a
drug peddler along with 1,368 beer cans in city’s Gulshan-1 circle area today.
The drug peddler was identified as M Liton, 30, son of M Rafiq hailed from Chunputia-
Aminpara area of Keraniganj.
RAB Legal and Media Wings Senior Assistant Director (Senior ASP) Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan
confirmed the incident to BSS.
He said an elite team of RAB-1 raided city’s road number 9 of Gulshan-1 Circle area around
10:30 am and arrested him while he was supplying and selling those beer cans.
RAB also seized a private car which was used for drug transportation.
The process of filing a case with concerned police station in this connection is underway.
