The workers under the banner of Chattogram “Gono-o-Ponno Paribahan Malik-

extortion by the law enforcers, ended last night.

The strike caused immense sufferings to commuters of 16 routes as public
vehicles were inadequate in the city and different upazilas as well.

Oikya Parishad Chief Manjurul Alam Monju said the strike was postponed as
the city Mayor assured them to fulfill their demand.
