US, Turkey launch joint patrols in northeast Syria: AFP
AKCAKALE, Turkey, Sept 8, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – The United States and Turkey on
Sunday began joint patrols in northeastern Syria in an area designated to
become a “safe zone”, an AFP journalist reported.
Six Turkish armoured vehicles crossed the border to join US troops in
Syria for their first joint patrol under an agreement reached on August 7.
