8th death anniversary of Nanak’s son observed
DHAKA, Sept 6, 2019 (BSS) – The 8th death anniversary of Sayem-ur Rahman Sayem, only son of Awami League (AL) Joint Secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, was observed today in the city in a befitting manner.
Marking the anniversary, the Sayem Memorial Foundation organised a discussion, doa and milad mahfil at Dhanmondi, said a press release.
Special prayer was offered on the occasion for the eternal peace of the departed soul of Sayem.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, AL Joint Secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam Hanif, MPs, political leaders, professionals and representatives of social and religious organisations joined the programme, among others.
Sayam died in a road accident in Cox’s Bazar on September 6 in 2011.
