School-boy stabbed to death in city
DHAKA, Sep 5, 2019 (BSS) – A school boy was stabbed to death and three others were injured by alleged miscreants in the city’s Mohammadpur area last evening.
The deceased was identified as Mahsin, 16, a ten-grade student of the Child Heaven International School in the aforesaid area.
The injured were identified as Sabbir, 17, Rakib, 18 and Rubel, 22.
They were admitted to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College (ShSMC) and the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), said Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mohammadpur Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Rakibul Islam.
He said a bunch of boys stabbed Mahsin centering internal feud while he was gossiping with his friends near Calvert area of Mohammadpur housing, leaving them injured. Mahsin was taken to the ShSMC where he succumbed to his injuries, he added.
Police recovered the body and kept it to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
The process of filing a case in this regard is underway.
