DHAKA, Sept 3, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted that rain may occur at many parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions, at a few places over Sylhet, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country,” said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 36.2 degree Celsius in Nikli of Kishoreganj, while today’s minimum temperature was 24.6 degree Celsius in Netrakona.
The sun sets at 6:15 pm today and rises at 5:41 am tomorrow in the capital.
