RAJSHAHI, Aug 29, 2019 (BSS)- Police arrested three youths with a
firearm and ammunitions on charge of their alleged involvement in criminal
activities here today.
The arrested persons were identified as Abhijit Halder, 22, son of
Ranjit Halder, Amir Hossain, 16, son of Khalilur Rahman and Mobarak Hossain,
17, son of Emaj Uddin.
A patrol police team arrested them witnessing their suspicious movement
in Shasthitola area under Boalia Police Station in the city this noon. The
team recovered a pistol with a magazine and six rounds of bullets and a sharp
knife after searching their bodies.
During the time of searching the bodies one of the arrested persons
suddenly struck a police man with the knife injuring him slightly.
Quoting their confessional statements police sources said they were
involved in terrorists and snatching activities for long in the city.
