DHAKA, Aug 29, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by
temporary gusty wind at different places over the country by 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur division, few places over
Khulna, Chattogram and Rajshahi divisions and at one or two places over
Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls
at places over the country,” a BMD press release said in a 24 hours weather
forecast commencing from 9 am today.
Day temperature may fall slightly over northwestern part and it may
remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country while night temperature
may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period.
The maximum temperature in the country was recorded 36.2 degrees Celsius
yesterday at Sayedpur in Rangpur division and minimum temperature was 25.0
degrees Celsius today at Nikli in Dhaka division and at Teknaf in Chattogram
division.
