Three motorcycle riders die in Dinajpur road accident
DINAJPUR, Aug 28, 2019 (BSS) – Three motorcycle riders were killed and six
others injured in a collision among a bus and three motorcycles in Fulbari
Upazila of the district today.
The accident took place around 10 am at Bazitpur on Dinajpur-Gobindaganj
Highway.
The deceased were identified as Farhad, 35, resident at Ambari Doulotpur
village in Chirirbandar Upazila, Antor, 32, inhabitant at the village and
Ashif, 28, hailed from Balubari area in Dinajpur town.
Among the injured people Raju, 25, was admitted to M Abdur Rahim Medical
College Hospital in critical conditions. Rest were admitted to Fulbari
Upazila Health Complex, said Officer-in-Charge of Fulbari Thana Fakrul Islam.
Police said the accident occurred when the motorcyclists were overtaking a
truck. Farhad, Antor and Ashif died don the spot.
A case was filed in this connection.
