RAB-ARREST-MILITANTS
RAB arrests four militants in city
DHAKA, Aug 28, 2019 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four
active militants of ‘Allah er Dol’ organisation also known as ‘Allah er
Sarkar’ in the early hours of today.
The arrestees are: Sirajul Islam Shahrul Mridha, 38, Moniruzzaman Monir,
40, SM Hafizur Rahman Sagor, 45 and Md Shafiul Moznabin Turin, 27.
A team of RAB-1 detained them in a drive from Dakshinkhan Police Station
area of the capital, said Rab-1 Commanding Officer Lt Col Sarwar Bin Kashem
in a press conference held at the media centre of RAB in city’s Karwan Bazar
area today.
The names and details of their identities are yet to be ascertained.
However, they claimed themselves as members of ‘Allah er Sarkar’
organisation to the RAB, said RAB Legal and Media Wings Senior Assistant
Director (Senior ASP) Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan.
Different stuffs including leaflets, mobile phones and pen drives were
seized from their procession.
