NILPHAMARI, Aug 28, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 1,800 flood hit students in
Dimla upazila of the district got education materials from UNICEF today.
A function was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium this noon on the
occasion with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nazmun Nahar in the chair.
It was addressed, among others, by UNICEF executive Nazibullah Hamim,
Upazila Parishad Chairman Tobibul Islam, Deputy Director of the Directorate
of Primary Education Md Abdul Wahab, District Primary Education Officer Osman
Goni and Communication Officer of UNICEF Monzur Ahmed.
Students from 14 flood affected primary schools of the upazila got books,
notebooks, pencils, scales, chalk, duster, glass, jar and school bags.
