Belgium Professor meets DU VC
DHAKA, August 27, 2019 (BSS) – Professor Dr. Peter Bossier of Ghent
University, Belgium called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC)
Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman today.
DU Fisheries Department Chairperson Prof. Dr. Md. Golum Rabbane, Prof Dr
Md. Ghulam Mustafa, Prof Dr Md. Raknuzzaman and Associate Prof Dr Mohammad
Shamsur Rahman were present on the occasion at VC’s office on the campus.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of further
strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic and research programmes on
aquaculture and fisheries between the University of Dhaka and Ghent
University, Belgium.
Earlier, Prof. Dr. Peter Bossier delivered two separate lectures on
“Microbial Community Management in Aquaculture” and “Health Management in
Aquaculture” at the Department of Fisheries of DU.
