BIDA launches promotional programme in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, Aug 25, 2019 (BSS)- Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) today launched a week-long divisional level promotional campaign aims at attracting local and foreign investment side by side with flourishing the investment process.
As part of the programme, Rajshahi divisional office of BIDA set up ten booths at different parts of the city to bring the potential youths under registration for making them entrepreneurs through proper training.
Commissioner of Rajshahi division Nur-Ur-Rahman opened a booth at Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman Central Zoo and Park premises before a large number of youths.
Additional Commissioner Zakir Hossain, BIDA Divisional Director Benjamin Riazi and Deputy Director of Local Government Division Muhammad Salahuddin were present on the occasion.
Commissioner Rahman urged the attending youths to come forward towards becoming entrepreneurs as the present government has taken massive measures for promoting entrepreneurship.
An initiative has been taken to create 24,000 new and skilled entrepreneurs within two years in line with one of the prime minister’s 10 initiatives -‘Investment Development’, he added.
BIDA will provide training to the interested youths to create entrepreneurs for accelerating economic progress in the country, other speakers added.
