Banned polythene unearthed in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Aug 22, 2019 (BSS) – A mobile court of Chattogram district administration today unearthed a clandestine polythene factory in Chowdhuryhat rail station area under Hathazari upazila of the district.
The court also seized 500 kilogram of banned polythene during the drive after conducting a drive at a polythene factory.
However, neither the owner nor any employee was present during the drive.
Acting on secrete information, executive magistrate, also upazila Nirbahi officer of Hathazari Mohammad Ruhul Amin
conducted the drive in cooperation with police personnel this afternoon and sealed the polythene factory off in the aforesaid area.
The mobile court also seized the equipment used in the manufacturing of polythene.
Legal action will be taken against the owner of the factory, Ruhul Amin, said.
