DENGUE-PATIENTS-RECOVERY
2,549 dengue patients return home after recovery
KHULNA, Aug 22, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 2,549 dengue patients, who were
admitted to different hospitals in 10 districts of Khulna division, have
returned home after recovery.
“A total of 3,151 patients infected with the mosquito-borne disease have
left hospitals so far,” Additional Director Dr Ferdousi Akter, Director of
Health in Khulna Division Office said today.
As many as 3,151patients so far were diagnosed with dengue fever in
different hospitals in the division, the hospitals sources said. However, 8
people died from the disease.
A total of 504 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals
and clinics in the division.
A total of 152 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals
in the last 24 hours while 98 patients have been referred to hospitals in
Dhaka city.
